Learning Outcomes
The course will analyze the organization of academies, the structure and philosophy of a professional team and the use of sports facilities. During the course you will: - present the ways of organization and the purpose of a sports academy. - clarify the difference between academies and sports sections of organized academies. - clarify the influence of the coach on the behaviour of the athlete in an academy - to highlight the relationship between athlete-coach-parent. - to use applied sciences in the improvement of basic skills. - analyse the way a professional club is organised. - to present the financial analysis of a professional team. - analyse the maximisation of the return on a sports sponsorship. - describe the obligations of athletes towards a professional club. - present the use of professional contracts. - analyse how sports facilities are managed. - show the operation of a sports facility as a revenue generator for a professional team.
