Course Content (Syllabus)
International jurisdiction in matters of parental responsibility; international child abduction under the 1980 Hague Convention and the EU Regulations; EU Regulation Brussels Ia: international jurisdiction over insurance contracts, consumer contracts and individual contracts of employment, recognition and enforcement of judicial decisions; international jurisdiction over internet torts; Arbitration: arbitration agreement (validity - applicable law - arbitrability), recognition and enforcement of arbitral awards.

Student Assessment
Description
Writing of essay, oral presentation, participation in discussion during the classes, oral examination.
The grade of the oral examination at the end of the semester constitutes the 50% of the final grade and writing of essay, oral presentation and participation in discussion during the classes constitute the other 50% of the final grade.
