Learning Outcomes
In the context of this course students are expected to -examine the main issues of trademark and patent law -examine the main aspects of intellectual property and other property rights law -have critical approach of the jurisprudence of the European Court of Justice -deepen their knowledge on trademark and patent protection systems -understand what the function of trademarks and patents is -familiarize themselves with the trademark registration procedure

Course Content (Syllabus)
The course “Intellectual property law” is divided into three topics: (i). trademark law (ii) patent law and (iii) intellectual property and other property rights law. The substantive issues of each scientific field of law are analyzed and updated in the light of jurisprudence of the European Court of Justice and greek courts.
