Course Content (Syllabus)
The pricing of medicines differs radically from country to country, as it is part of the whole issue of social security and the pharmaceutical care provided, and these differences will be demonstrated by the specific course unit, analyzing not only the legislation in force in Greece (ministerial decision 32535/2019) but also the different systems, which are applied in other European countries, as well as internationally. The issues will be examined interdisciplinary, with special reference to issues of criminal liability related to drug pricing, civil liability in compensation, and with special reference to issues of fundamental rights in terms of access to drugs and treatments.
