Learning Outcomes
This module is the study of the disturbance of the human physiology of the organism that leads to the manifestation of a clinical symptom or disease.
After successful completion of this module, students will be able to:
• To understand the cellular and molecular mechanisms of aging, disorder, and homeostasis.
• To appreciate the changes in metabolic functions that occur in older adults.
• Describe the theories of aging.
• To evaluate the differences between the processes of normal aging
• Assess age-related diseases
• To recognize and understand the most critical physiological changes caused by the onset of old age.
