After successful completion of this module, students will be able to: • To describe the laboratory tests and methods performed for the prevention of diseases of the elderly population such as osteoporosis, hypertension, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, dementia, Alzheimer's, etc. • Define the indicators of healthy limits and their changes due to the elderly patient. • To apply practical knowledge and experience in the field of laboratory examination and prevention related to old age. • To understand the necessity of clinical-laboratory prevention in old age.
