Course Content (Syllabus)
This course will provide extensive teaching and analysis of the historical route of psychiatry and psychology from antiquity to the present day, with an emphasis on those processes, including philosophical currents, that have contributed to shaping the modern approach to dealing with mental health issues. Normal human behavior and inner psychic experience and subsequently the clinical symptomatology of mental disorders will be taught and analyzed. The in-depth teaching of clinical psychiatric symptomatology includes a detailed description of symptoms, their co-occurrence trends as well as the possible consequences of each symptom on the rest of the patient's behavior
