Learning Outcomes
Students are expected that, within this course, they will: • Be able to use specific neuropsychological and psychometric tools including apperception tests • Know the usefulness and limitations of these tools in assessing various characteristics and skills of the general population • Become familiar with their application as adjunctive tools for the diagnosis and assessment of the patient's course.

Course Content (Syllabus)
The course concerns the quantification of behavior in general and psychopathology in particular but also techniques of extracting information that cannot be obtained with the usual clinical examination. The topic of basic theory regarding the quantification of behavior will be covered by analyzing both methodological and statistical / mathematical issues, with an emphasis on the ways of developing, evaluating and weighting these tools but also those points concerning advantages and limitations. The course will concern the application of neuropsychological and psychometric methods for the assessment of abilities, skills, characteristics of temperament and personality of the general and healthy population, as well as clinical characteristics, disability, quality of life, etc. of patients with neuropsychiatric disorders.
