Course Content (Syllabus)
This course presents basic concepts of neuroimaging with a focus on brain function. Although all methods are covered, emphasis is placed on non-invasive, neurophysiological methods such as Electroencephalography and Magnetoencephalography. Elements of experimental design and techniques for data analysis and visualisation are also given and practical use is made of tools for their analysis and interpretation.
In detail:
Introduction to medical informatics, biomedical technology, health information systems - modern developments in digital health
Principles of neuroimaging methods
Physiological basis of non-invasive neurophysiological recordings
Electroencephalography & Magnetoencephalography
Preprocessing of neurophysiological recordings
Brain mapping systems
Analysis and visualisation of neurophysiological recordings
Experimental recordings & practical training
