Learning Outcomes
Understand the legal and ethical issues of vaccination. Understand issues related to medical negligence in the administration of pharmaceutical treatment. Understand the phenomena of vaccine hesitancy and resistance, the anti-vaccination movement, and its instigation. Be trained in proper information and education of the public and the general population during epidemics/pandemics and in communication methods. Understand the psychological impact of epidemics as well as lockdowns.

Course Content (Syllabus)
Legal and ethical issues of vaccination. Medical negligence in the administration of pharmaceutical treatment. Patent and intellectual property issues in the development of new pharmaceutical substances. The consequences of epidemics on mental health. Vulnerable population groups. Lockdown and mental health. Vaccine hesitancy and resistance. The anti-vaccination movement and its instigation. Information and education of the public and the general population during epidemics/pandemics. Communication methods. The power of vaccines.
