Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of the course, students are expected to:
• have an in-depth understanding of the concept of Quality in Health Care
• become familiar with the internationally recognized dimensions of patient and healthcare professional safety, effectiveness, person-centredness, efficiency, timely, equitable and integrated care.
• practise self-care practices for health professionals
• understand the actions and role of the Agency for Quality Assurance in Health (ODIPY) and the WHO Athens Quality of Care and Patient Safety Office

Student Assessment
Description
The evaluation of students will be carried out through:
• The preparation of three written assignments (40% participation in the final grade)
• Their performance in the exams with multiple choice questions (60% participation in the final grade)
A pass mark in the examinations of the MSc courses is considered to be the higher or equal to six (6).
