Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of the course, students will be trained in learning basic principles and systems regarding the organization of open space. Moreover the development of methods and alternative ways for a unified organization of closed-covered and open-outdoors spaces into a coherent synthesis of built environments organically incorporated in landscape.

Course Content (Syllabus)
Design of open – outdoors spaces in built environments (yards, unbuilt grounds, pedestrian precincts, squares, etc.) already in existence or under consideration. a) Synthetic design work in groups, and theory-papers b) Presentations of facts and examples. Architectural Design: Recent international experience. The range and limits of architectural synthetic logic: Examples and personal experience. Architectural interventions in environmentally sensitive areas.
