Course Content (Syllabus)
The course aims to approach theoretical issues and methods in history education related to the transformation of academic historical knowledge into pedagogical knowledge and the development of historical thinking and historical consciousness.
Alternative or informal types of history education are presented such as local history, oral history, digital history, historical movies, historical graphic novels and drama – verbatim theatre. The course includes lectures, workshops and educational visits to places of historical significance.
