Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to: Knowledge Demonstrate knowledge of the fundamental characteristics and official rules of volleyball. Apply basic technical skills and analyze fundamental team formation systems. Competences Design and organize pedagogical teaching programs for volleyball tailored to students of different ages and skill levels. Safely and methodically guide small groups of children through instructional drills and learning games. Apply basic tactical principles during game situations. Skills Correctly perform and teach fundamental volleyball techniques. Identify technical execution errors and provide pedagogical feedback for improvement.

Course Content (Syllabus)
1st Historical background, characteristics, and rules of the sport. Team composition. To understand the historical development, official rules, and player positions. (Knowledge) 2nd Basic body postures and movements. Preparatory games for children and youth. To develop the ability to perform and teach fundamental postures and movements. (Skill, Competence) 3rd Overhead pass technique. Types of passes. Competitive games with overhead passing. To perform overhead passing correctly, distinguish its types, and organize application games. (Skill, Competence) 4th Forearm pass technique (bump). Types of forearm passes. Competitive games combining overhead and forearm passing. To apply and teach proper forearm passing and practice it through games that combine both passing techniques. (Skill, Competence) 5th Underhand serve technique. Serve reception. Combination of serve, overhead pass, and forearm pass. 3x3 game (mini volleyball). To develop execution and teaching skills for serve/reception and apply them in a 3x3 game. (Skill, Competence) 6th Overhand serve technique. Introduction to 6:0 team formation. Team tactics in serve reception. The "W" formation. To apply and teach overhand serve and understand tactical formations for serve reception. (Skill, Knowledge) 7th Introduction to attack. Types of attacks. Coverage forms. Game using 6:0 formation. To learn and teach attack techniques and coverage, and become familiar with the 6:0 system. (Skill, Knowledge) 8th Blocking. Types and movement patterns. To correctly perform and teach blocking and its movements. (Skill, Competence) 9th Floor defense, falls, introduction to the 4:2 system. To perform and teach defensive techniques and understand the 4:2 system. (Skill, Knowledge) 10th 6-up defensive formation. Game using the 4:2 system. To understand and teach basic defensive formations and apply the 4:2 system. (Knowledge, Skill, Competence) 11th 2:3 attack coverage. Game using the 4:2 system. To effectively apply and teach attack coverage and implement the 4:2 system. (Skill, Competence) 12th Lesson/training plan organization. To be able to organize a basic volleyball lesson or training plan. (Knowledge, Competence) 13th Student evaluation on basic volleyball technical skills. To demonstrate proficiency in executing fundamental volleyball techniques. (Skill)
