Course Content (Syllabus)
The purpose of this course is to provide students with the necessary theoretical knowledge and practical skills to create, develop, and finance startup businesses in the field of sport, with a particular emphasis on the role of innovation at every stage of development. The course combines theoretical approaches with practical applications, focusing on developing competencies related to identifying entrepreneurial opportunities, designing innovative business models, and securing funding sources.
The teaching module is structured around four main sub-units:
The introductory sub-unit presents the fundamental concepts of entrepreneurship and innovation, core skills for entrepreneurial success, and the business environment.
This is followed by instruction on three key entrepreneurial frameworks: Business Model Canvas, Lean Startup, and Disciplined Entrepreneurship.
In the final sub-unit, students are trained in the effective pitching of their business ideas and in seeking financial support.
