Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of the course, students will: 1) use natural language processing to describe the functional role of genes 2) clarify the genotype-phenotype relationship using NLP 3) get familiar with the methods for studying protein-protein interactions 4) apply bioinformatics approaches to describe the functional properties of gene lists up to the determination of gene pleiotropy.

Course Content (Syllabus)
This course will provide a detailed theoretical and practical description of Natural Language Processing methods such as and methods for retrieval, processing and analysis of Gene Ontology.
