Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of the course, students will: 1) be able to work in the DepMap, cBioPortal, GTEx, Human Protein Atlas, ClinicalTrials.gov databases 2) retrieve and analyze data from the above databases using PhyWAS, data mining and machine learning techniques 3) be able to identify novel target genes for a multitude of biotechnological and therapeutic approaches.

Course Content (Syllabus)
Course contents include: 1) introduction to DepMap, cBioPortal, GTEx, Human Protein Atlas, ClinicalTrials.gov databases, 2) ways to retrieve and analyze data from the above databases using PhyWAS, data mining and machine learning techniques.
