Learning Outcomes
The PerioProstheticcourses includes two modules/seminars in the areas of advanced management of combined Prosthodontics and Periodontics. The aim of the first module (PerioPros I) is to identify updated data for periodontal tissues and periodontal disease. Also, issues related to examination, diagnosis and treatment planning of the perioprosthetic patient (PPP), structured on (a) anatomical peculiarities of the PPP, (b) requirements of periodontium of the PPP, (c) estimation of the prognosis on the base of the periodontal classification and the level of support. Fundamental procedures of prosthetic modalities affecting periodontal tissues in relation with the crevicular pocket probing depth, the location of gingival margins and the crown contours in the PPP are also analyzed.Furthermore, the prosthetic rehabilitation of periodontally compromised teeth and arches, affecting also in parallel the relationships among (a) occlusion and periodontium or/and occlusion and prosthetic restorations of the PPP as well as (b) Prognosis of the prosthetic treatment plan of the PPP.

Course Content (Syllabus)
The PerioProstheticcourses includes two modules/seminars in the areas of advanced management of combined Prosthodontics and Periodontics.
