Prerequisites
General Prerequisites
Fruit management requires expertise in both the basic knowledge and practical application of growing, harvesting, handling, storing, processing and marketing of fruit trees. The course includes lectures and laboratory exercises that provide information on important aspects of tree crop fruit biology and management.
Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of the course, students will be able to:
a) understand basic concepts of fruit biology related to their pre- and post-harvest quality.

Course Content (Syllabus)
The course aims at interaction between students and the instructor to gain a more thorough understanding of literature reviews, experimental design, and interpretation of current research in modern fruit tree fruit management techniques. Students are invited to present a paper on this topic.
