Learning Outcomes
The course includes theoretical teaching, laboratory and clinical practice in small animal soft tissue surgery. Upon successful completion of the course students will be able to diagnose and treat clinical cases in companion animal soft tissue surgery.

Course Content (Syllabus)
Theoretical teaching in plastic and reconstructive surgery, surgical oncology and surgery of the upper respiratory tract of companion animals. Laboratory exercises in abdominal and thoracic approaches, clinical training in soft tissue surgery of companion animals

Student Assessment
Description
The evaluation of the students is done by each faculty member based on their performance in clinical and laboratory practice, i.e. based on their diagnostic, operative, and post-operative skills and performance. At the end of the semester, their performance is graded.
