Course Content (Syllabus)
The course aims to familiarize students with the travel narrative as a literary practice, that is, a genre with unique codes and history; the questions of definition, concepts that describe the practice of travel narrative, a typological approach, as well as the study of the representation of space, the otherness of the autobiographical dimension and the interculturality of the travel story. The course will be illustrated by specific works belonging to this type of story.
