Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to: - Design lessons for teaching concepts and phenomena in Physics - Effectively implement a planned microteaching - Formulate the cognitive and psychomotor objectives of their teaching - Select appropriate instructional tools to support each phase of their microteaching - Design microteachings that take into account students’ preconceptions about Physics concepts and phenomena - Use experimental activities, with real or digital means, into their microteachings - Provide constructive feedback on their peers’ microteaching approaches - Engage in evidence-based self-reflection on their own microteaching - Participate in metacognitive processes related to the implemented microteachings - Communicate their ideas effectively, enhancing their communication skills

Description
- Assessment of students’ knowledge, understanding, and application of instructional design principles and microteaching implementation (formative and summative, up to 40% of the final grade). - Assessment of students’ self-reflection on the design and implementation of their own microteaching, their constructive feedback on their peers’ microteaching sessions as well as the redesign of their own microteachings (formative and summative, up to 40% of the final grade). - Final written exam (summative, up to 20% of the final grade).
