- National Meteorological Service (EMY), Hellenic Agricultural Insurance Organization (ELGA), and environmental departments of municipalities or regions
- IT companies specializing in software development
- IT and computer companies specializing in computer hardware and systems integration
- Electronics companies focusing on the design and construction of electronic circuits
- Companies specializing in materials science and nanomaterials research
