Digital transmission and reception: Structure of a digital communication system, Signal-space theory, digital transmission, the AWGN channel, Digital receiver, BER in AWGN channel. Digital modulatio: PAM, PPM, PSK, QAM, FSK. Bandwidth efficient modulations: O-QPSK, MSK, CPM
