Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of the course, the student will know the fundamental axes on which modern greek theology has established, learn about the "adventures" of St Gregory Palamas' works in past centuries, understand how Decalogue was used at Turcocracy period, join modern theological currents with past ones, and become familiar with the pastoral teachings of important personalities of the past.

Course Content (Syllabus)
Within this course is investigated the configuration context of the Church teaching,
the role of the ecclesiastical courts, canonical collections and
of "Exomologitarion"'s book under the turkish occupation. It is also investigated the interpretation of Mosaic Decalogue aswell as vaious aspects of morality and pastoral practice at this time. More, it is presented the beginnings of Neohellenic Theology focusing on great ecclesiastical personalities such as
Makarios Notaras, Vincent Damodos, Nicodemus the Athonite, Kosmas
Aitolian and Athanasios Parios. Also it concludes refers to Saint Gregory
Palamas and the adventures of his works.
