Learning Outcomes
With the successful completion of this course the students will today know the development of Pedagogic Science in Greece from 1836 until. More specifically they will be taught the effects of Pedagogics in Greece from foreigner educators, the pedagogic work of foreigner educators: Herbart, Kerschensteiner, Dewey. Also they will know the work of many Greek educators: Delmouzou, Triantafyllidi, Glinou, Kastanou, Papanoutsou.

Course Content (Syllabus)
Aim of this course is from the one to investigate the development of Pedagogics in Greece at the 19th and 20th century and from the other to value the contribution concrete foreigner (mainly German) and Greek Educators in the foundation Pedagogic as Science. Are more concretely examined following thematic: The effects of German Pedagogics in Greece, pedagogic theories (inter alia) Comenius - Pestalozzi - Fröbel - Herbart - Kerchensteiner - Montessori - J. Dewey, the pedagogic opinions educators: I. Kokkoni, D. Zaggogianni, N. Exarchopouloy, D. Glinou, Al. Delmouzouy, M. Triantafyllidi, Th. Kastonou, M. Kountoura, G. Palaiologou, E. Papanoutsou. - Examination: written - Obligatory written work.
