Course Content (Syllabus)
Renaissance and Humanism as intellectual and artistic phenomena of the human development are studied and analysed through texts and works of that period. Aspects, features, particularities and themes of literary and artistic production are especially examined as well as their influence reflected to the artists of the next centuries. In addition, emphasis is given to several areas of the human activity (social, politic, scientific, religious, philosophical) in order to show the importance of this period's ideas to the evolution of european civilization and the construction of the modern subjectivity.
