Course Content (Syllabus)
The course aims are to look into the political and party ideologies that were prevalent during the post-war social formation of Greece and focuses on their effects upon public, collective and individual attitudes. By scrutinizing specific historical events, modes of political behaviour and ideological proclamations, the course tries to bring out the dominant ideological trends and the various forms of their interaction wich typify the features of present-day Greek political ideology and represent the opposing poles of “tradition” and “modernity” in modern Greek society.
