There are no prerequisites for the course. It is recommended for students to attend Biological Psychology I first.

Upon successful completion of the course, students with have a sound understanding of the functional neuroanatomy of the human brain and the mechanisms involved in higher cognitive functions.

Course Content (Syllabus)
Definition. Functional organization of the human brain, production of emotions, perceptio, movement, speech, memory, attentio, etc. under normal circumstances. Examples of neuropsychiatric disorders through the presentation of case studies and methods of clinical assessment of dysfunction.
