General Prerequisites
Cognitive methods of treatment intervention and mechanisms of recovery of patients with neuropsychological dysfunction (e.g., after traumatic brain injury). Theoretical foundations and rehabilitation techniques for impaired attention, memory, communication, executive functioning and awareness.
Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of the course, students will have a broad knowledge base relative to the scientific fields involved with the study of emotions and basic level knowledge regarding methods of conducting research in this field.

Course Content (Syllabus)
Basic principles of cognitive rehabilitation, neurological disorders and factors contributing to neurobehavioral recovery. Neuropsychological assessment and approaches to the rehabilitation of attention, memory, executive dyxfunction, impaired awareness and communication.
