Course Content (Syllabus)
The course is an introduction to the Teaching of Mathematics. Presentation of the Teaching of Mathematics: The subject of teaching, The Systemic approach, Genetic Epistemology and Teaching (trends in cognitive psychology, behaviorism, the endorsement Piaget-balancing). Since the shapes of the concepts. Epistemology and teaching of mathematics. Teaching displacement: scientific knowledge, didactic aims, curriculum, school knowledge, taught knowledge. Teaching situations and problem situations. The vision of Polya. The teaching contract. Errors and obstacles. Evaluation issues. Introduction to the Theory of Teaching: uncertainty, types of uncertainty Uncertainty-deal-intersubjectivity, meaning, Reading and the instability in the classroom, teacher-student-practice class.
