Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of the course students will be able to compose short texts (descriptions and announcements/advertisements). As for the aural comprehension and oral production, they should be able to communicate successfully upon different social situations (i.e. "First day on campus", "Renting a flat", "At the post office", etc.).
Course Content (Syllabus)
This course focuses on:
a. complex sentences and reported speech,
b. existence and possession,
c. past tense in all main five binyanim and most functional subgroups,
d. cardinal numbers from 100 to 1000 and addition and subtraction activities in Modern Hebrew and
e. compound nouns (סמיכויות) and absolute and construct states.
Students will be able to compose short texts (descriptions and announcements/advertisements). As for the aural comprehension and oral production, we focus on different communicative events (i.e. "First day on campus", "Renting a flat", "At the post office", etc.).
