Learning Outcomes
To familiarize students with VR/AR devices and το provide them with abilities for designing and developing VR/AR and mobile AR applications using visual, haptic and aural rendering technologies.
By the end of the course students are expected to:
a) Identify the various types of VR input and output devices and their potential use
b) Understand the principles of visual, aural and haptic rendering
c) Model virtual reality objects and environments
d) Understand the mechanisms to support augmented reality using VR devices and mobile phones
e) Design and develop Virtual/Augmented Reality applications
