- To understand the principles of electroanalytical techniques. - To understand technique/ sensor optimization strategies based on fundamental electrochemical principles. - To identify the main types of electroanalytical techniques. - To obtain an in-depth, detailed knowledge the main types of electrochemical sensors (glucose sensor, oxygen Clark type sensor, ion selective electrodes, biosensors)

Course Content (Syllabus)
Conductimetric, potentiometric titrations. Coulometry, Voltaammetry-amperometry. Electrochemical biosensors. Analytical applications of electrochemical techniques in biological, environmental and pharmaceutical samples as well as in food and beverages. Speciation analysis of metals applying electrochemical techniques.
