Learning Outcomes
After the course students will be able to: a) learn the principles and methods of modern hermeneutics. b) know the last trends in the scholarly research about the interpretation mainly of the Gospels. c) come in touch with the sources and they will be able to research New Testament texts.

Course Content (Syllabus)
The course will present the new trends in the interpretation of the various books of the New Testament, but will also attempt to compare and critically evaluate those that followed in the past. Students will be informed about the ways of researching and working with biblical texts with special scientific digital software but also with free search on relevant websites. In particular, stories from the Gospels, the Epistles, and the Epistle to the Jews will be analyzed, and the issue of the study of the historical Jesus in recent years will be discussed.
