Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this course, students should be able to: -Analyze the positions of the Orthodox Church for uninterrupted worship -Research the influence of the Psalms on the liturgical tradition of the Orthodox Church. -Record the evolution of the Service of the Twelve Psalms in the Service of the Mesoria (Mid-Hours) -Value the Unceasing Worship importance for Church pastoral ministry

Course Content (Syllabus)
Liturgical dimensions of unceasing prayer. The liturgical structure and use of the Psalter. The Service of the Twelve Psalms in the ascetic texts and the manuscript tradition. The development of Service of the Twelve Psalms in the Service of the Mesoria (Mid-Hours).The liturgical use of the Mesoria (Mid-Hours).The liturgical richness as a contribution to undergraduate students' academic training and to their pastoral activity in the Church as well.
