Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to: -Recognize and reproduce the letters and diacritics of the Arabic alphabet in all their forms -Read short chapters of the Qur'an that were taught in the classroom -Use with facility the Quranic text by identifying specific verses -Analyze the modern scientific research on the canonization of the Quranic text -categorize different forms of early Arabic writing -be sensitive to the peculiarities of the study of sacred texts -work in groups of interfaith composition

Course Content (Syllabus)
It is a continuation of the material of the first semester. We continue with the necessary introduction-acquaintance of the Qur'anic text and the practice of its academic approach and analysis, as well as the theological understanding of the same and its interpretations and the various issues that arise from the various approaches and schools of exegesis during the examined period

Description
Internet and digital resources, video, podcast, audios, via elearning, where assignments are submitted and the students receive individualised feedback electronically. The zoom digital classes during distance learning provide the opportunity to all students to active practice all the skills. All communication with the students takes place through university platforms, SIS, elearning, webmail and the Department's webpage.

The examination has always an oral elements and it can also be written. Optional written assignments counts towards the total percentage of the grade. The degree of participation in the class during the lectures and seminars is in their final evaluation.
