Learning Outcomes
After the successful completion of the module students will be able to to calculate Time value of money, conduct capital budgeting, to measure return on investment to appreciate the concept of Leverage and return on equity to recognize the Balance Sheet, To utilize financial ratios, to quantify break-even analysis

Course Content (Syllabus)
Part A: Time value of money. Financing by borrowing. Capital Budgeting. Corporate finance with bond issuance. Return on Equity. B: Types of business entities, products and business organization, concept of profit (accounting and finance), Balance Sheet, financial ratios, profitability, break-even analysis, volume-production costs and profit graph break-even, contribution margin, break-even retail business, financial statements and ratios, liquidity and activity ratios.
