Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of the course, students will be able to deal with complex issues of substantive and procedural criminal law of dependencies, analyzing cases that have dealt with the court case and delving into the study of interpretive texts of criminal law.
Course Content (Syllabus)
The course is a continuation of the criminal law course of the first semester. It first delves into the more complex problems of the substantive criminal law of addictions, which relate to the manner and timing of the diagnosis of addiction and the importance of the diagnosis for the treatment of the addict. Subsequently, procedural law issues are investigated, related to the rights of the dependent person and the way he / she is treated by the law during the pre-trial and investigative procedure, as well as during the stage of sentencing.
