Upon completion of the course, students will be able to: -Approach the course and position of women in the Church and history -Present specific figures and ways of women's presence -Use critically relevant sources of Christian literature and bibliography -Analyze and interpret the female presence based on Christian teaching and in relation to the historical and social context -Follow over time and evaluate the presence of women in the Church

Course Content (Syllabus)
The course examines the position of women in the history of the Church. It analyzes critically the impact of women's presence in the Church life through a variety of roles, such as the deaconess, virgin, widow etc. The course aims to illuminate the status of women and its treatment from the Church based on the sources of christian literature.
