Learning Outcomes
-Understand the basic principles of electrochemical cells.
-To aquire knowledge about the theory as well as the basic principles of electrochemical techniques of analysis (conductimetry, potentiometry, phmetry, coulometry, voltammetry, amperometry)
-To apply the above mentioned techniques in chemical analysis.
Course Content (Syllabus)
Conductimetric, potentiometric titrations. Coulometry, Voltaammetry-amperometry. Electrochemical biosensors. Analytical applications of electrochemical techniques in biological, environmental and pharmaceutical samples as well as in food and beverages. Speciation analysis of metals applying electrochemical techniques.
