Learning Outcomes
The aim of this course is to introduce the students to the fundamental concepts and principles of economics. Upon successful completion of the course students will be able to - use and interpret economic models for the analysis of economic situations - discuss and apply economic analysis to everyday problems and real-world situations - identify key sources and indicators of economic growth - demonstrate familiarity with the causes and consequences of problems in our economies, such as unemployment, inflation, etc.

Course Content (Syllabus)
The aim of this course is to introduce the student to the fundamental concepts and principles of economics using a balanced analysis of microeconomics and macroeconomics. We use theory and examples to understand the current economic environment and economics both as a scientific discipline and a s a way of understanding the real world.

Description
The course is carried out by displaying notes in ppt as well as selected videos in order to explain economic concepts. There is an intermediate examination in the form of an online quiz (using elearning platform).
