The students will be able to approach a wide range of extended sound production techniques for saxophone, through its repertoire, in order to achieve a deeper understanding and to incorporate them in a composition.

Course Content (Syllabus)
Study of extended sound production techniques for saxophone, through its repertoire (Berio, Lauba, Noda, Gubaidulina, Shrude). Study of circular breathing, multiphonics, articulation (slap-tongue, flatter-tongue), singing and beatbox.

Saxophone literature, with different works than those studied during the semester. The process is announced in the 1st lesson of the semester, but if more clarification is required, this is given during the semester.
