Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of the course, students will be familiar with basic principles of Translation Studies and especially of literary translation and will be able to translate literary texts from German into Greek.

Course Content (Syllabus)
The course will study contemporary and older translations of German-language literature into Greek, the profiles of their translators and the characteristics of other agents in the field of literary translation in Greece compared to other European countries. In addition, extracts of German-language literature will be translated into Greek.
