Learning Outcomes
The course aims at:
• Familiarisation of the pedagogy of musical improvisation to gradually discover ways of interacting through improvisation
• Developing students' musical creativity, communication and interaction through direct experience with musical improvisation
• Exploration of environmental and body sounds, objects and musical instruments and experiential integration of musical concepts in musical improvisation
• Realisation that spontaneous musical improvisation is part of young children's everyday behaviors
• Organization of related activities within a classroom setting

Course Content (Syllabus)
The development of musical improvisation is an important pedagogical attitude that encourages interaction and communication through music, both interpersonally and in the classroom. The course analyzes and highlights the spontaneous everyday behaviors and improvisations that occur when we sing or play music. Games and improvisations with sounds happen every day in the lives of young children. For that reason, value is given to the discovery of improvisational musical experiences, based on free and original exploration of the sounds of the environment, the body, objects and musical instruments. Regardless of musical knowledge and abilities, all participants can experience the joy of musical communication and meeting each other through improvisation.

Description
• Use of powerpoint to support the theoretical and practical part of the course,
• Use of online sources and programs for playing music and video, as well as programs for musical notation and musical sound processing.
The course is mainly based on face-to-face contact, while communication is facilitated by the course's online platform as well as the use of e-mail.

Description
Course evaluation is gradual (formative evaluation) and it is based on:
• Individual and group oral presentations, during the semester.
• A test in the theoretical part of the course during the semester
• Final exam with oral presentation of a musical group improvisation
