Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of the course, students will be familiar with basic principles of the Sociology in Translation Studies and especially of the agents acting in the translation field, their relationships, bios of translators as well as details of the publishing industry and the promotion of literature translations.

Course Content (Syllabus)
The course will study interviews with translators of foreign literature, selected scientific articles about the sociology of translation and the press articles about the publishing field and the promotion of literary translation.
