After successful completion of this module, students will be able to: • Assess chemical, biological and physical hazards in the work and home environment. • To define the concept of "sick building". • To understand liquid waste treatment processes • Describe the main characteristics and identify the "sick building". • To choose the appropriate building materials for the defense of public health. • To understand the radiological burden resulting from building materials. • To understand the importance of wood as a biological raw material and its use in indoor spaces.
