Course Content (Syllabus)
This course aims to analyze the language as a field in which the interlocutors use speech strategies in order to succeed the communicative goals. Students will research which are the components of the ‘’social opportunity’’ and what speech is appropriate in various communicative circumstances, ex. Media speech. Furthermore, they learn how to collect and classify linguistic data in order to accomplish the linguistic analysis.
