Learning Outcomes
Students are expected to:
-Understand the basic principles of creative movement, dance, music and theatre in education, as well as the appropriate educational approaches concerning young ages in formal and non-formal learning environments
-implement creative interconnections between the arts, through movement, music, museum and theatre
and build new channels of communication and learning in multicultural educational environments.
-be familiar with the basic characteristics of educational research in the visual and performing arts and in music.
-be able to design educational research projects with the use of the arts.
-connect theory and practice in contemporary artistic educational practices.
-understand the museum as an environment of non-formal learning and the possibilities that it offers for the acquisition of experiential art experiences.
-understand the ways of utilizing the arts for the experiential approach of museum contents and creative expression within the museum and at school.
Course Content (Syllabus)
In this course, the Arts are presented as a unifying lever of a holistic educational approach for a pedagogy of creativity. In line with the requirements of the modern era for innovation and the expression of cultural diversity, the basic structures for the transfer of creative abilities through the Arts, in formal and non-formal learning environments, are presented through modern scientific data and indicative applications.
Aspects, methodological approaches and ways of research in the field of Visual Arts are primarily analyzed, while then, in an interdisciplinary context, creative connections of Visual Arts with Music, Theatre, Dance and Museum Education are offered in ways that support the expression, communication and learning in the modern world.

Projection of text files (ppt etc.), images (photos, videos), audio (music, podcasts, etc.), video recording, recording of workshop activities, use of e-learning platform for posting material, announcements, and communication with students, as well as for conducting quizzes, submitting assignments, etc.
Description
The required progress and final examination exams, as well as the evaluation criteria in each case, will be posted in time in e-learning. Throughout the semester, students participate in artistic activities either as creators or as spectators/listeners, study current research through current articles, participate in quizzes, and present events and projects in front of the group.
