Learning Outcomes
At the end of the course, the student will be able to: 1) Define, describe and explain the basic principles of magma genesis and evolution. 2) Describe and interpret the basic principles of distribution and behavior of the major elements in the main petrogenic processes. 3) Describe, explain and evaluate/interpret the behavior of the trace elements and their distributions in the main petrogenic processes. 4) Describe, explain and evaluate/interpret the behavior of radioactive isotopes and their distributions in the main petrogenic processes.
